Commissions
Firstly, I am hugely honoured you are considering me to paint your special place; animal/s or people. I do not take it lightly and we work together to make sure it's what you envisioned (and hopefully better)!
Here are a few nuggets of info:
Commissions take time
6-8 weeks, depending on size/detail and how many other pieces are happening at the same time. I'll give you an ETA at the start and keep you in the loop with progress!
What's the process?
- Email across your idea/s with photos and ideal size of painting you'd like. I can then provide a quote and give you an ETA completion date.
- Deposit of 50% of final cost is required to start the piece
- Once the key details are painted, I'll send a photo for your review and complete any minor, final tweaks
- Once you're happy, the remaining 50% of payment is required
- I package and ship your work to you
- Optional: would LOVE to see a photo of your piece hung up!
Pricing:
It's all dependent on size and detail required on the painting, but as a rough guide here are some examples below.
Tier 1 from £175: Single subject, simple background, 9"x12". Note: no close up human portraits at this price (face profiles/backs and people in the distance are fine though)!
Tier 2 from £300: Whole canvas with detail painted, size 9"x12".
This rough price point would also be for:
- a human portrait up close with a simple background
- a 12"x16" canvas with a main subject/s on a single-coloured background painted
Tier 3 from £500: whole canvas detail with 2x human/animal portraits, size 12"x16"
This rough price point would also be for:
- a larger canvas (up to 16"x20") with a single subject and a simple background
Tier 4 I adore large paintings too, so always happy to discuss a larger painting. My largest one on canvas is 100cm x 120cm:
I've also painted murals too if anyone wants a complete custom painting on their wall either at home or work. The below was in Halter HQ in Auckland, New Zealand - a lovely addition to the office!
